- a set of stainless steel spheres with e.g. the following diameters in mm:
	0.3; 0.4; 0.5; 0.6; 0.7; 0.8; 0.9; 1.0; 1.1; 1.3: 1.5; 1.75; 2.0; 2.5; 3.0; 3.5; 4.0; 4.5; 5.0
	* more diameters in the smaller range are important because (1) the disdrometers have a higher inaccuracy there and (2) more of the naturally occuring particles are in that range
	* we bought the spheres at www.kugel-winnie.de, but that shop is currently unavailable
	* 50 spheres per size, accuracy ~10 µm
	
- a set of plastic (polypropylene) spheres with e.g. the following diameters in mm:
	2.0; 3.0; 4.0; 5.0; 6.0; 8.0; 10.0; 15.0

- a box with enough containers to hold the different sphere sizes
